Sachin: A Billion Dreams is an upcoming 2017 Indian biographical film written and directed by James Erskine and produced by Ravi Bhagchandka and Carnival Motion Pictures under 200 NotOut Productions.The film is based on the life of Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.[1][2][3] The film is scheduled to be released on 14 April 2017.[4]

The film captures Tendulkar's cricket and personal life in substantial detail, as well as reveals few aspects of his life which have never been heard of or seen before.[5]

Production

Marketing

The name of the film was selected via a contest that Sachin Tendulkar had announced on Twitter.[6] The first poster of the film was released on 11 April 2016 through a tweet by Sachin Tendulkar which became viral. Shah Rukh Khan replied to the tweet by saying that he wants to watch this film. Khan tweeted: "This one I have to watch. Show me soon my friend." Different posters were tweeted by his fellow team mates Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Virat Kohli, Harbhajan Singh and many others. So far four posters of the film have been released.[7][8][9][10]

On 14 April 2016, the teaser of the film was unveiled on Facebook and YouTube.[11][12]
