Flower Boy,[1] also known as Scum Fuck Flower Boy,[2] is the upcoming fourth studio album by American rapper Tyler, The Creator. It is set to be released on July 21, 2017 by Columbia Records.[3] The album is supported by a double single, featuring "Who Dat Boy" and "911 / Mr. Lonely".[4]
Background
The album title, track list and release date was announced by Tyler, The Creator on July 6, 2017 via social media.[5][6] Two covers were unveiled upon announcement, the main cover designed by Los Angeles-based artist Eric White and the alternative cover designed by Tyler himself.[7]
Promotion
After beginning a one-week countdown on Twitter, Tyler, The Creator released dual-singles "Who Dat Boy" and "911 / Mr. Lonely" on June 30, 2017 to digital outlets.[4][8] This was accompanied by a music video for "Who Dat Boy", uploaded to Tyler's official YouTube channel.[9]
