*'''Keep'''. Damn Small is certainly a notable enough distro to warrent keeping. It's one of the few distros created solely for use on really old computers. Infact, it was the first Linux distro I ever used. [[User:BWF89|BWF89]] 00:03, 7 October 2006 (UTC) |

Prod tag removed without comment, no evidence is provided that this linux distribution is any more notable than any other.--Peta 00:24, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. Arbusto 01:16, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- Weak keep common enough, though the article needs cleanup; not a great set of statistics, but DistroWatch ranks it above Slackware and Debian in lookups over the past year. Opabinia regalis 01:32, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- Keep. Damn Small Linux is perhaps the most well-known Linux distro for business-card CD's and USB thumbdrives. I see it as notable. However the article could certainly do with a clean up and a trim to make it more focused. But I don't think slapping a 'prod' template on the article and now listing it here on AfD is the proper way to motivate people to fix the article. Even if it does result in a cleanup, there are other ways to achieve that result. This is just a waste of time. Imroy 04:37, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- Extremely strong speedy keep. Damn small linux is the most popular micro linux distro, with a rank of 7 on distrowatch (which means, to all of you non-linux-geeks, that it's the seventh most popular linux distro). It's more popular than Slackware, Gentoo, FreeBSD, CentOS, and Debian itself. Ultra-Loser Talk | BT sites 04:53, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- Comment while I agree this should be kept, a rank of 7 on DistroWatch doesn't make the 7th most popular distribution; just the 7th most popular distro page on their site. They're not measuring actual usage. Opabinia regalis 06:20, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- Keep So-called Portable software is a growing phenomenon as small flash drives increase in capacity and more and more consumer electronics (video game consoles) evolve towards becoming full-fledged desktop computers capable of running alternate OSes. Invariably the content can be expanded as popularity (and enquiries) increase in frequency. Currently there is no portable software article, btw. --Neo 09:07, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- Keep "any more notable than any other" would make it notable enough. Only, I'd rename the article to DSLinux personally. --Kitch (Talk | Contrib) 12:06, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- Comment: We already have a DSLinux article. They don't appear to be the same distro at all. --Aaron 21:33, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- Strong keep, quite notable as one of the premiere compact linux distributions. — Dark Shikari talk/contribs 13:07, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- Strong keep Damn Small Linux is a rather widely used disto. It is just as deserving of having its own page as say Gentoo. --Maelnuneb (Talk) 14:15, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- Strong keep - Probably the most notable non-commercialized Linux distro there is. I do agree that the article could use a little more notability evidence. -- Plutortalkcontribs 15:29, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

- Keep. Seems plenty N to me. --Aaron 21:33, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
