:Hello JE98,
:Not sure if this is correct place to continue this discussion, but I did not revert those edits, except in the case of TV (software), as TV (application) is limited to just the apps, and I don't think three items is sufficient for a disambiguation page, but it may be. In any case, someone looking for TV applications may be looking for Smart TV apps. If for some reason you dispute the definition of "app" and believe Apple's apps take precedence over any other company's apps without violating WP:NPOV, please cite a source. WikIan -(talk) 01:46, 24 September 2017 (UTC)

:tpw Hey, Codename Lisa and JE98. I just looked at WikIan's public logs and the issue is very concerning. Indeed WikIan one of our most stupid editors. Every time I read his name, it is bad news. Instead of spending his time contributing positive stuff, he pull stupid stunts like this, because of his flawed understanding (or outright lack of understanding) of why we do things when we do them. I remember the time when he tried to merge every article whose title contained the word "Outlook". When he dies, I will certainly celebrate. I will report this case to administrators and request a block for this troublemaker. Infobox software articles

Hey there. I think I've made a decent enough compromise for the articles we've been fighting over in the past day or so: Clock (software), Weather (software), and Messages (software). Since you explicity stated in the edit histories that your problem was with the "unsourced claims" in the infobox, and thus you pulled out WP:BURDEN to do so, I've removed them from Infobox software. I've kept the initial release date for Clock, however, since that parameter was cited. We still need a consensus on these sweeping design changes that'll affect many other articles as well, so we need to keep Infobox software as the status quo in case your proposal fails, in which, from what it seems, is likely not going to. In that case, I hope you can understand that you don't have long to wait until we can get the all-clear to change every article to Infobox OS component anyways. I hope we can keep it cool between us until then :) – PhilipTerryGraham (talk · contribs · count) 03:59, 23 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! There is a DR/N request you may have interest in.

This message is being sent to let you know of a discussion at the Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard regarding a content dispute discussion you may have participated in. Content disputes can hold up article development and make editing difficult for editors. You are not required to participate, but you are both invited and encouraged to help this dispute come to a resolution. Please join us to help form a consensus. Thank you!--Jasper Deng (talk) 05:19, 23 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Application to Software

Hello, I notices that back in February you moved several iOS apps from "(application)" to "(software)", including "TV (software)" and "Notes (software)". However, I want to warn you that WikIan has been reverting your page moves back to "(software)" and creating dab pages with the "software" articles without tagging them. The Google and Microsoft apps are not considered software like the Apple apps, so if you want to help me revert this moves, I’d appreciate it. Thank you. Hello JE98,
Not sure if this is correct place to continue this discussion, but I did not revert those edits, except in the case of TV (software), as TV (application) is limited to just the apps, and I don't think three items is sufficient for a disambiguation page, but it may be. In any case, someone looking for TV applications may be looking for Smart TV apps. If for some reason you dispute the definition of "app" and believe Apple's apps take precedence over any other company's apps without violating WP:NPOV, please cite a source.
