"Copper is an essential trace element that is vital to the health of all living things (humans, plants, animals, and microorganisms). In humans, copper is essential to the proper functioning of organs and metabolic processes. "
Why do I feel this sort of extraordinary sounding claim needs extraordinary evidence? Link to multi-generational study of animals fed diet totally free of any metals and what were the results?

Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Copper in health. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}

- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20101015204256/http://www.copperinfo.com:80/health/goodhealth.html to http://copperinfo.com/health/goodhealth.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Why "Copper in Health?"
For other minerals that are also essential nutrients, most have separate articles for the mineral and the mineral in biology (Example: Selenium and Selenium in Biology). Some incorporate all of the biology/health information into the main article. "Copper" and "Copper in Health" have overlapping content, and might benefit from a reorganization along the lines of other minerals. David notMD (talk) 11:56, 6 September 2017 (UTC)
