What is this dispute about? What sections, sentences, or issues in the article(s) can you not agree on? If you are the editor who opened this request, list these issues to be mediated under "Primary issues". The issues to be mediated would be properly agreed upon later, if this request for mediation is accepted.
Primary issues (added by the filing party)
Biased editors are blanket deleting a new, well-researched introduction to a controversial subject and replacing it with an inaccurate, politically charged accusation which the new introduction, drafted from WP:NPOV, contradicts, and refusing to engage substantively with the Talk page discussion on the subject. The other editors mischaracterize attempts to promote WP:NPOV as a "false balance." Consensus in this setting will be impossible and a disinterested mediator should intervene.

Decline - the request is so hopeless between personal attacks and the obvious entrenchment of the editor that this simply is a waste of everyone's time. Ravensfire (talk) 23:33, 24 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Decision of the Mediation Committee
This section should only be edited by a mediator. The Mediation Committee's representative will indicate in due course whether the request is accepted (meaning a mediator will be assigned) or rejected (meaning you will have to try a different type of dispute resolution). If the mediator asks you a question in this section, you may edit here.
Question.@Ravensfire: I cannot see where you have substantively contributed to the talk page discussion. If mediation does not proceed, what discussion or consensus-building activity do you intend to take up? Will you continue reverting changes to the article? AGK ■ 21:24, 30 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Reject. Failed to satisfy prerequisite for mediation #5, "A majority of the parties to the dispute consent to mediation". For the Mediation Commitee, TransporterMan (TALK) 20:29, 31 October 2018 (UTC) (Chairperson)[reply]

Enlighten me as to how these facts are "fluff"?
I await your response.

This is not an issue for mediation, other than further disciplinary action against {{user|Domainvia}}, a COI account who was already blocked for several days for a history of promotional edits: [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Michael_Sembello&diff=prev&oldid=827074744]; [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Michael_Sembello&diff=prev&oldid=827191088]; [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Michael_Sembello&diff=prev&oldid=827391336]; [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Danny_Sembello&diff=prev&oldid=861462316]; [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Michael_Sembello&diff=prev&oldid=861462481]; [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Michael_Sembello&diff=prev&oldid=861471466]; [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Michael_Sembello&diff=prev&oldid=861475085]; [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Michael_Sembello&diff=prev&oldid=861757846]; [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Michael_Sembello&diff=prev&oldid=861762779]; [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Michael_Sembello&diff=prev&oldid=861791138]; [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Michael_Sembello&diff=prev&oldid=861792272]; [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Michael_Sembello&diff=prev&oldid=861800661]; [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Michael_Sembello&diff=prev&oldid=861802570]; [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Danny_Sembello&diff=861462316&oldid=798680766]. I recommend that this be closed as frivolous. The OP has a track record of promotional editing on the article in question for which I have previously found it necessary to block them. I have placed the editor on notice that further disruptive editing is likely to result in unpleasantness. -Ad Orientem (talk) 03:24, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I requested a review and, without getting any meaningful feedback, the article was flagged for deletion and then deleted without giving me a chance to fix any errors I may have made.

Reject. Moot, since the draft article has been restored. Even if it had not, however, a question of deletion is outside the scope of the mission of this committee. Deletion issues first go to the administrator who deleted the article, then to deletion review if the party is still not satisfied.
