Caf confederations cup

Hello

I think the merge of the caf cup with the caf confederations cup was a bad idea.

the confederations cup which was initiated in 2004 should be merged with the african cup winners cup, or else just leave it like it was before--105.156.168.73 (talk) 22:35, 10 November 2018 (UTC)

Hello, i don't think so, look how they did in Europe. it's exactly the same think, the CAF just copied the UEFA. Cup winners cup were merged in CAF Cup, which still exist, before and after the merger. The competition experienced some changes (group phase,...) like what happended for the Champions League, which remains with the same article before and after the change of the name.
