Vespadelus is a genus of vesper bat in the family Vespertilionidae. It contains the following species, found only in Australia:

The genus name was first published by Troughton and Tom Iredale in 1934, but with an adequate description, Troughton provided a diagnosis for the genus in 1943, making this name available. Other circumscriptions assign these species to genera Pipistrellus and Eptesicus. The type species Scotophilus pumilus Gray, 1841 was assigned as a new combination, species Vespadelus pumilus.[1]
