Power Sportz is India’s first live sports news and journalism channel on a digital platform[1][2] and it is based in Gurugram, India.[3] Kanthi D Suresh is the Editor-in-chief of the channel.[4][5][6] The platform was launched in May 2018 at the Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.[1] The channel is available on Amazon Fire TV.[7][8]

In July 2018, Power Sportz's flagship show, Talking Turkey with Kanthi, was instrumental in unfurling the rampant misconduct and fiefdom existent in the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India.[9][10] The show raised issues pertaining to transgender athletes and rampant age fraud prevalent at the grassroots level. It highlighted how the BCCI continued to resist coming under the purview of the RTI Act despite recommendations by the Lodha Committee and directive issued by the Central Information Commission (CIC) to ensure compliance.[11][12] Statistics and surveys by Power Sportz channel resulted in Shooting being declared the Best Sports of 2018 in India.[13]
