Kathy Moses Salem

Hello jimfbleak! The article I wrote about Kathy Moses Salem was deleted. My first submission was told to add more citations, however now the entire article is gone! Kathy is a major public figure in my community and completely understand the need to add more citations, however I don't know why the article was deleted. I reached out to her to help write it, however she did not have any input on its creation, only guidance and where to find references. Let me know what we can do to resolve this! I appreciate the help in advance. I named my Wikipedia account after her just because I didn't have one before, however she is not the account owner or provider of anything for this Wikipedia page. Wanting to create an Autobiography type article of a recently deleted Wikipedia page!

Deleted User Page

Hello. I noticed that you deleted my user page which would explain why the content on it is from another wiki. I have a question. Why did you delete my user page? What was wrong with it? Well, I actually have two questions. There was nothing wrong with it. I had information about me which I think is what a user page should have. Is it possible for you to undo your actions? My reasoning being that this was totally unexpected and I was not messaged about this action.

I know that Wikipedia and my user page is not social media. I wasn't trying to make it look like social media and I did add basic info such as my favorite television shows and the channels I watch. I also added why I joined Wikipedia. Did you not see that part? I'm not trying to sound sassy. I am just asking a question.

Another deleted user page

Your judgement about the content of my user page is incorrect. My page was short and factual. It was aimed at stating my credentials as a Wikipedia author and at disambiguating my wife and myself. My wife and I are both professors in closely related fields and we have the same initials and surname. In the name of promoting feminism I feel it is important to make it clear that I am not the author of my wife's scholarship and vice versa. Other wikipedians have written to me with confusion on this issue, so it is important to make the situation clear. I am also startled that you deleted my page without discussion or consultation. Why do you feel you have that right? I see you have done this to other people too. Please reinstate my user page and discuss with me how to improve it. Hi Jim,

I noticed you recently deleted my draft: The Cordes Foundation. I am requesting if you can send me the draft copy of the article. I wasn't done editing the article and was planning to add relevant external sources for references. My plan was to remove the press releases with outside notable sources. Your email gave me insights into what all cannot be used as references (I didnt know about that before). However, I didnt know that the draft will also be deleted. I was assuming since I have not submitted it for review yet, I can keep working on it and add relevant citations and edit information before I submit it for review. Let me know if this was the only reason you deleted the page.

CVN Kalari

Please undelete my page on CVN Kalari. If you have a problem with any of the text, we can discuss it. But I gave citations of scholarly literature about why this is an important centre and has been the subject of study by ethnographers and cultural historians. My text did not violate copyright. My text was plain and descriptive, and not at all promotional. This institution is famous in South India and deserves to be noted in WP. I am genuinely puzzled and dismayed by your action. Thanks for your explanations today, Jimfbleak, about the User page and the CVN Kalari pages that you deleted. I take your points fully; I have actually read all the WP documentation about NPOV and other criteria, and I take them seriously. I remain surprised that you felt my writing was non-compliant enough for rapid deletion, but I think that if we discuss it further we'll get into an annoying "you said, I said" kind of dispute about increasingly small details.

If you would be kind enough to reinstate the two deletions, I commit to rewriting them according to your advice during the next week (I'm up to my neck in student essays right now).

Deletion of article about Leonteq

Hi Jimfbleak. My article about the company Leonteq has been deleted with the argument that it is advertising with reference to the user name "leonteq". However I had previously discussed this issue with several wikipedia users and I was told that as long as my account/user name is verified I will be allowed to write about our company (without advertising it). The account has been verified quite some time ago (in 2016 I believe). Is this information then not correct? Could it be an issue that the account had been verified in the German version of Wikipedia? As I wrote an objective article that does not contain advertising nor incorrect or exaggerated information, I was hoping that I get the chance to improve the article in any way necessary and post it again. Hello I was very dissapointed today to realise my draft for a composer Anita Andreis was deleted. I invested a lot of time to create it.

I would kindly ask you to point out the reasons so I can change them in an article?

I've got a written permission from the composer to use all the materials and information from her Web site. All the other resources are from newspapers and magazines I even had to translate to make this article.

Please, let me learn about the process by clarifying what needs to be changed. I want to continue with my Wikipedia contributions for other notable Croatian artists and composers so please let me learn about the process.

1) Where do I send the written email permission? 2) delete links that might include products? (I did that because it's a discography list but I'll change it) 3) What else do I need to change in my draft?

Please, don't let so many hours of someone's work go to waste.

As per the deletion page, the username was created with his name so as to ensure data accuracy and avoid any kind of data duplicacy. All the data is well prepared and the information is verifiable and the relevant resources are mentioned along with. As stated before, the user page was verified and updated but now the user page and even the article is deleted. Please review it and allow submission, as the entire data is verifiable and authentic to use.

4/26/19 My article on Soraya Sesto was deleted. I clearly stated my contractual relationship to her and yet the entry is balanced and supported. Sesto is a respected prominent figure in Puerto Rico for her business trajectory, her impact on education of public school students across the Spanish speaking world, her charitable and non-profit activities. The entry is not solely promotional and is supported. With all due respect, you do not live in Puerto Rico and you have no context for the importance of her presence in Wikipedia. Deletion of an article in my sandbox

Hello Jimfbleak. You recently deleted an article I wrote in my sandbox. Now that's just practice. I don't know why you deleted it as it's in MY SANDBOX. Please, may I have everything back that I wrote, and allow me to practice making articles and edits in my Sandbox. I wasn't planning on publishing it or ever making an article about myself. It's causing no harm, and I'm having fun. Also, if you refuse to allow me to have an article like that, please tell me everything I should change, to make it better, so if I ever do make an article, what should it have and not have. Wikipedia isn't a web host and it isn't a social media site. It's an encyclopedia. There was no chance your sandbox could have ever become an appropriate article so you shouldn't have been editing it. The deletion was appropriate.
