Danis fast game, that's a bit premature yet. Although you have submitted the draft for review, it hasn't been accepted yet, so it shouldn't be moved to article space until that happens. Jimfbleak, Okay but The draft could take weeks to be reviewed and the only reason I created a draft was because I was unable to create an article due to the page being protected, that’s why asked if you could remove the protection from the page so the article can be added. With Saffron’s upcoming appearance on a television show, it’s important that people can easily find out who she is, and I am very confident this article is ready to be published as I’ve created many articles in the past. No. However I edit Strictly Come Dancing a lot. And it’s important for the readers to be able to know who she is. You protected the page two years ago and now there’s an article ready you simply have to unprotect the page. I’m not asking you to create an article. Hello! I've noticed your username in the list of FAC mentors. I'm currently writing an article draft about Indonesian homegardens, and I'm aiming a featured-article criteria for it. However, I'm afraid that the writing might be inadequate in its flow or readability, and I'm also afraid that I might accidentally came into indications of original research. Dhio, as long as there is no rush, happy to do so. Three very quick comments; If this is a topic for en-wiki, you should treat it as an English word, I think, ie, not italicised. Also, you wander randomly between singular and plural, eg Pekarangans are known for its plant diversity, they are identified by its "dense, forest mimics", there are others. Livestock and poultry are collective nouns without a plural. It's also seriously underlinked, with no wikilinks after the intro, you need to address these basic issues before think of polishing the prose. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:53, 3 August 2019 (UTC)

Reads ok at first glance. The lead is a summary of the most important points in the article. All material in lead should be in article and expanded on there. You don't need references in lead as they will be in article. Agree with Jim about watching singular and plural. Also, foreign words not generally used in English are italicised. About Speedy Deletion

Hi Jim, can you please help me understand why https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Massar_Solutions went into speedy deletion and how to fix this? I understand COI and I have mentioned it in my user page. The page is deleted under G11: Unambiguous advertising or promotion. Can you help me understand what I did wrong and if you could so kindly guide me. Also, I want to try writing it in more neutral form so if you can help me with the backup for the content that I can rewrite. I am new to wikipedia. Getting articles approved will help me write more and contribute to wikipedia. Your contribution will be much appreciated!

Deletion

Hi Jim,

I was wondering if you would consider un-deleting the wikipedia page for "Vinnie Tortorich". It says you deleted the page for advertisement but if possible, could you take another look at it? If you still think it is advertisement perhaps I could edit the page to correct it to meet Wikipedia guidelines? Vinnie is a best selling author, has a successful podcast, and currently has the number 10 movie on all of iTunes so I believe that he is well known enough to have a Wikipedia page. This is the problem. You have made no edits to that page or any other, so I have no reason to assume that you have the competence to write a biography of a living person. That impression is reinforced by your suggestion of his own web site and two sales sites as sources, which are as far from the necessary independent verifiable sources as it's possible to be. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the person or an associated organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the person claims or interviewing them. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls.

The deleted text had no in-line references at all, so we can't verify any of the facts and show that he meets the notability guidelines.

If you have a conflict of interest you must declare it. Also read Your first article.

Deleting a page about myself

Dear Jimfbleak

My name is Peter HANTZ, I am professor of Biophysics in Hungary, author of several books, and participating in the founding and management of a series of international NGO. Due to my activities in science, as well as human and minority rights, I have more than 200,000 Google hits.

I would kindly like to ask you to undo the deletion of the page I wrote about myself. It's a neutral biographical page, most of my colleagues have such pages in English, German or Hungarian languages.

@Peter.hantz: it is suggested to not write an article about yourself. I don't know what was in the article, but having a conflict of interest with the subject of the article usually leads to a biased article. Try to write about other subjects, or see Wikiversity. Dear Nigos, Please restore the page and do not delete it without even having a look into it. It is a simple biographical article. I am a public figure in Central Europe and I was asked to build this page after I become the leader of several international NGOs. I will make a complaint at the Requests for Undeletion as well.

Sorry what was promotional in the page? I copied the skeleton of similar pages already existing on Wikipedia, and I filled them with my biographical data and achievements. It was not full with achievements, I used already existiong Wilipedia templates and I just listed a fraction of my most relevant papers and book, one for each topic. Again, please provide me the source code and I delete achievements if you wish. I did not save it because I was not expecting that it will be deleted without a trace.

Please provide me the source code. I spoke to the Hungarian editors, and a Hungarian page will be initiated. I dont want to loose time with making the references again.

grin I understand that this is a GF suggestion, but it would be promo in a sandbox as much as it was as a draft. This user shows no signs of wanting to contribute to the encyclopaedia beyond promoting himself and his work. I've blocked him because he's ignored all the guidance and warnings he's been given, edit-warred, socked, and just kept self-promoting. @Masumrezarock100: You are mislead by the comment rearrangement by Jim (which I don't appreciate either): my reply had nothing to do with the ban, nor was it a question about the reasons. See the original state. There is nothing "nice and civil" in rejecting a polite request to send the deleted content to the user, which is otherwise not accessible to neither him nor me. But I don't think there is much to discuss about this, a fellow admin already have sent the text, I will forward it to the user and he can do whatever he pleases with his own work. Hi. I was trying to add a similar page to Wok to Walk, but for Wok&Go, which is a similar concept. Since Wok to Walk was accepted and has been on Wikipedia for a while, could you kindly tell me what I did differently and how I can fix it to create a similar page? Thank you very much! I have tried to recreate it, making it even more similar to the Wok to Walk skeleton, since that page was accepted on Wikipedia. I have removed their website's blog from the references and used external sources (press and franchising websites) instead. Publishing an article on an artist, NOT COI.

I am not being paid for it and he isn't any relative or friend. I have been doing many researches about him and I had to go through many danish websites. There is not copyright in my article, there are not promotions, because obviously I do not earn anything from it. Although It's something I have been doing for me, just to get into the great wikipedia community. I do really enjoy writing. So, please, I would like to understand specifically the mistakes made. Also Please, if to publish it I will need to declare false info such as " I am getting paid to do it" I will do, as long it is done and published.

ErinaEffe, we often restore deleted text, but we can't do so here because of the copyright violation. You will have to start from scratch and comply with the guidance I've posted on your talk page. Deletion "DraftESEMP"

You deleted my Draft for the English ESEMP-Page. The reasons were G11 and G12. Since I would like to upload the page again, I want to take care of the issues. Concerning G12, I left a copyleft notice on the page I was citing, so there should be no problems due to copyright. Themobiustrip, I've restored the page and formatted the headings correctly. I've also removed all the external links from the text. If you want to use them for references, you can retrieve them from the history, but don't put them back as ELs. I strongly suggest that you take a copy of the draft, since at present it's still an unreferenced promo and could be deleted on sight by another admin, who may also block you. You need to make sure that you follow the guidance I put on your talk page or you will be blocked by me as WP:Not here despite your declaration, you need to reference everything you write to independent third-party sources, and you need to say more about the company, such as number of employees, turnover, profit etc, not just the current "this is what we do" Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:55, 15 August 2019 (UTC)

Zeeyarah restore

The article was written by me and later it was deleted. I would like to admit that I am the founder of zeeyarah and request you to restore the article. Good amount of time and research was done to create an article. The purpose of this article is not to promote but to spread the idea on NDC - New Distribution Capability because not many online Travel Agencies or companies had adopted or certified like zeeyarah did in the beginning. I can amend the article to write more about the innovative ideas on NDC and way forward to changes in Airline Inventory Distribution system that would enhance the customers experience and reduction in distribution cost. I myself coming from an Airline Background for more than 24 years of service. Dear Jimfbleak

There was a page by some other person on one of my favourite film activist and political analyst "Partha Pratim Moitra". May be some of his family members opened a page in his name and when he came to know of this page, he himself requested for speedy deletion.

I have no connection with him, but I am become pretty impressed by his biography. So I opened a page in his name with more specific details. But that page (Draft:Partha Pratim Moitra) has also been speedily deleted. Is it like that, no information on him will be allowed from now on? He is a well known poet, political and film activist, and I feel people should know about the informations I furnished.

Please suggest me what I am to do toShould I make the article short, by deleting the facts which are not corroborated by references? How do I request you to stop the speedy deletion of my article, and request you for reconsidering the matter and recommend to publish the article.
