Event coordinator

Sorry, unregistered users cannot be granted permissions due to technical restrictions. Please create an account in order to request user account permissions.
Shortcuts
Please review Wikipedia:Event coordinator before making a request.
If you are requesting this access for a special event, please include the date(s) of your event and a link to the event page if possible.
Newer editors will receive this permission temporarily for an event. Established editors involved with outreach may be granted access without expiration.
Editors who currently have account creator only for outreach purposes will usually have that permission removed when the event coordinator user group is granted.
If your account creations will use the Programs & Events Dashboard this access is no longer required unless you will also be manually flagging your attendees as "confirmed".

I am hosting and facilitating an event March 5, 2020 from 4pm-8pm CST. I have a event dashboard Do I need to have any special permissions or need to notify someone. All attendees will be using wifi, likely eduroam. Thank you for your help Marswrae (talk) 17:09, 14 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Marswrae: using the dashboard will allow you to create all the accounts you need; will you need to manually "confirm" your attendees (so they can create non-draft new articles directly or upload non-free images)? — xaosflux Talk 17:17, 14 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm hosting an Edit-A-Thon on March 27, 2020 from 11am-3pm at the Sciences Library at Indiana University. I'm expecting at least 40 attendees and would like to have event coordinator status for the event. I've edited a few times at other IU Wikipedia Edit-A-Thons.
