I would not call the overnight music format 'Oldies'. I have been listening to C F Zed M AM for many nights. The sound is more like 'Adult Contemporary Oldies'. There are are many Rock artists from the 70's and 80's (which had Hit singles on the Pop charts) that are ignored. Even slower ballad hit singles performed by a Rock bands are ignored. How about 'Dream On' by Aerosmith? How about 'Beth' or 'Hard Luck Woman' by Kiss? How about 'Bad Time' by Grand Funk Railroad? How about 'Is This Love' by Whitesnake? How about 'Third Time Lucky' by Foghat? I can go on and on. This station is definitely not like listening to a Top 40 / CHR[[User:NiklasEkstrom|NiklasEkstrom]] ([[User talk:NiklasEkstrom|talk]]) 22:41, 13 May 2020 (UTC) station from the 70's or 80's. Apparently the programming consultant does not like Rock. 'Oldies' is supposed to include ALL Oldies.

Try Listening Online. Their website says that Live Audio Is Available, Is this True? One editor says No. Another says Yes.

I am the person referred to as having a personal issue by the person who removed my edit stating that on line audio of this station does not work. I just tried it again; it still does not work, This is the only radio station of at least 50 that I have sampled that I could not get to work. Would this person who removed my edit, please leave a line or two as to how he/she got it to work?``` —Preceding unsigned comment added by 1archie99 (talkcontribs) 05:37, 28 May 2008 (UTC) 1archie99 (talk) 18:56, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not the person in question, but I would point out nonetheless that it's not at all unusual for a radio station's webstream to work for some people and not for others, or in one piece of audio software and not another. Hell, I have MP3s on my hard drive that work in one piece of software and not another. It isn't the radio station's fault, generally; it's a software or audio driver bug. But even if the stream were absolutely, unequivocally not working for anybody at all, comment about it still wouldn't really belong in this article until, say, the Toronto Star or the Toronto Sun actually wrote and published an article about CHWO being publicly criticized for that. It's the kind of statement that simply can't be in this article without a reliable source to back it up. Bearcat (talk) 15:33, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding bearcat's comment I will limit my comment re lack of actual streaming from this station to the talk page, I have had a lot of experience listening to online audio. The software that this station uses works on my computer when used by other stations. With CHWO no matter where I click no audio is available. This is frustrating because I can receive it on air everywhere excopt my own home due to large amount of power lines there. This is the only adult standard web audio I cannot access. This is frustating because its programming is very good and unique.1archie99 (talk) 23:19, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New calls

According to Northeast Radio Watch (nerw.com) the calls for CHWO have changed to CFZM effective July 22, 2008. I am unable to log in for some reason so can someone please "move" the article?
