Mustaque Ahmed Ruhi (born June 19, 1974) is a Bangladeshi politician and member of the 9th Parliament of Netrokona 1 constituency which includes Kalmakanda Upazila and Durgapur Upazila in Netrokona District of Mymensingh Division [1][2] In 2008, he was elected as a member of the Bangladesh Awami League nominee in the general election. He is well known as one of the most prominent student leaders of Mymensingh Division [3]

Education

Mustaque Ahmed Ruhi was a talented student. He got a scholarship with Talentpool from Netrakona Government Primary School. Then he was admitted to the Government Anjuman School. In 1989, he got 'Star Marks' and passed the secondary examination from Mymensingh Zilla School. Ruhi completed Higher Secondary, Honors and MMS in Ananda Mohan University College respectively in 1991, 1994 and 1996. Later on, he passed his viva and written test at Sukuba University in Japan in 2004 and started his PhD. But he did not complete his PhD because of his involvement in politics.[4][3]
