Hello, PuraVida18!
Having an article declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. If you are wondering why your article submission was declined, please post a question at the Articles for creation help desk. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, we'd love to help you at the Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help new editors like yourself! Paid editing on Wikipedia
Hello PuraVida18. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:PuraVida18. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=PuraVida18|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Template:Z159-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 04:28, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
No, I am not being paid for this article and if I was then I would have disclosed this before I started. I am purely a volunteer as stated in my talk page. This is my first attempt at WP:BLF and I find the subject fascinating. We need more philanthropists like this in the world. Please reinstate my draft page. I think I messed up by putting the 'Draft Article' in the visual editing rather than the source editing. Forgive me, it's my first go at a long article.

- @Yunshui and Doc James: can you please check the evidences in regard to their paid editing status? Thank you. GSS 💬 05:19, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
Hi GSS. I am also working on another article titled "BRIDGEi2i Analytics". I sent an Email to Doc James on Friday 29 May 20 requesting reinstatement. This is still unanswered. The email read: “ I am a keen AI (Artificial Intelligence) researcher with MACS (Member of Australian Computer Society) credentials. I follow many AI organisations such as iTechArt Group, SPEC INDIA, Altar.io and MobiDev. One of the earlier established AI powered companies was BRIDGEi2i Analytics. In March this year I noticed they had disappeared from Wikipedia and I then found that the company had been moved to draft. I can see the reasons why and it is a pity if the editor didn’t disclose his remuneration in violation of WP:PAID. I have cleaned up the article and would request that you now move it back into mainstream WP and remove the Note. I am a volunteer just like you and I could do this move myself but would like your cooperation and it would be good if you do the move.”. I then posted on Doc James' Talk page but got no reply. In the end I did the move. I would appreciate it very much if you can resolve both my issues. The best way to learn and become a good editor is to make mistakes and learn from them. Now with COVID 19 rampant I have plenty of time on my hands so would really like to learn to be a good editor and make a major contribution to WP.
