Don't use a Wikipedia page as your source. Anyone could changes those instances. The instances also appear to be the choice of a Wikipedia editor in how he/she decided to include the content. Redirect request: Incarcerated firefighters in California

The target article is about fire camps run jointly by the CDCR and CAL FIRE to train and deploy incarcerated people as firefighters. Articles about firefighting and wildfires in California often mention incarcerated firefighters rather than the camps, so this redirect would be useful for creating wikilinks.
An alternative redirect title would be "Inmate firefighters in California". Both terms seem to be used interchangeably in sources.

That sounds wrong. It is not professional firefighters who are in jail. It is about using prisoners as auxiliaries for fighting fires. Thus the scope of the proposed title is wrong. The scope of "fire camp" in the current title is also wrong, since it isn't about any old fire camp, it is about the Department of Corrections ones. Both "inmate firefighters" and "incarcerated firefighters" frequently appear in news media to refer to prisoners working as firefighters. Although in theory these terms could also refer to firefighters in prison, I think the chance of confusion is low as it's unlikely someone would be seeking information about the latter topic.
