Printers Inc was the first bookstore I was aware of in the Bay Area which included a real coffee shop. Can anyone verify whether it actually was the first, and/or who the first in the Bay Area / CA / US actually was?

I recall William Gibson, Buzz Aldrin, Stephen Gould and others. Sad that we no longer have this place. Really a complement to the restaurants on California Avenue. Hard to believe it has now been gone for almost 2 decades.

I recall William Gibson, Buzz Aldrin, Stephen Gould and others. Sad that we no longer have this place. Really a complement to the restaurants on California Avenue. Hard to believe it has now been gone for almost 2 decades.
