@Destroyeraa: I understand, as I am a student as well. (I took a final yesterday and another today!) I'm glad that between your education and WP, your education comes first. I haven't been able to edit for a week or 2 now myself because of the studying and stuff as well as some personal matters. Like Weatherman27 said, just don't let it get to your head. It will only make it worse. And if you do get a bad score, don't stress too much. In 5-10 years, it won't matter. I understand completely. Best of luck during school. I know how it feels, I have done plenty of exams :) Just stay calm, and focus. One of the things that I have always been taught is to be present-minded. Stress and anxiety are never good for a person, regardless of the situation, even if it can't be helped. But being present minded is good, because you think about now, rather than what might happen in the future. Yes, you have exams coming up. I understand that, but, at the same time, you will only continue to feel worse if you let it get to your head. Take a deep breathe, and focus on what is happening at present day. The exams will come when they do. Focus on subjects that you struggle on, and work on them thoroughly. Relax, and think about only the things that effect you at this very moment. I am sorry if that made no sense at all. I guess what I am trying to say is that it is never a good mindset to stress and worry about something that is in the future. You can prepare for it now, and feel better about it when the time comes, whenever that may be. Again, my apologies if this made no sense whatsoever. Oof, now that's a big project! That will probably take you a few weeks, but it'll be a huge accomplishment when you're done. You may want to do a North Carolina sub-article (don't do both Carolinas in one, that wouldn't make sense), that way the state's $20+billion in damage doesn't overwhelm the rest of the article. I'd imagine there are lots of impacts all across the eastern US, probably random power outages, floods, and other impacts. I suggest you focus on area by area. If North Carolina is too overwhelming, then maybe start with South Carolina or Virginia. I've done that for a few big projects - do the easy areas first, so that by the time I have to do the worst-affected area, it's the only thing left to do. Just an FYI on the WPTC roster

FYI, we normally don't rotate users off the roster unless they haven't edited TC articles for a year or more. The only exceptions we make tend to be if they have gone completely inactive on-wiki for at least a few months, or if there are indications that they may have left WPTC for the time being. We usually wait for a 6-month absence in those cases. I don't know whose idea it was to rotate off users who haven't edited TC articles for a month or two, but it isn't right. But I'm not going to revert any of the changes, unless it involves users who were active on TC articles as recently as a month or two ago. Cyclone Yasa 2020/ Late Merry Christmas (lol)

Hey destroyaa just wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays but I want to bring up the pressure of Yasa in the Cyclone Yasa (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclone_Yasa) article. It shows a pressure of 899 mb which I know is FMS's estimate but do you think that its more reasonable to use JTWC's estimate? Doge1941 (talk) 16:11, 27 December 2020 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) Hi @Doge1941:, We never use the JTWC pressure estimates since they are totally unofficial, in fact, I was told the other year that the FMS pressures are closer to the truth than the JTWC's. We can mention them in the prose if needs be but for the infobox and other articles, the FMS's pressure takes priority since they are the RSMC. While it is indeed a strange pressure, what makes the 899 so unreasonable? Bearing in mind that the FMS were on the ground and would have better access to measurements from weather stations near the system.Jason Rees (talk) 17:33, 27 December 2020 (UTC)

@Doge1941: Happy holidays to you too. Technically, the JTWC is not the RSMC for any basin, and thus we Wikipedians do not use JTWC pressure. Yeah, some RSMCs are incompetent, with Meteo France and the NHC being the most competent IMO. ~ Destroyer🌀🌀 17:22, 27 December 2020 (UTC)

FWIW @Doge1941: what you heard is not a reliable source or good enough to convince me to change from the FMS estimate of 899 to the JTWC's of 914.
