Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

Nigerian Medical Students' Association

Could you comment on your decision to accept Nigerian Medical Students' Association out of AfC? While the organization does appear to be notable, the draft you accepted had significant NPOV issues as well as a few paragraphs of content directly lifted from copyrighted websites. signed, Rosguill talk 00:04, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ah! Rosguill, I will confirm that my assessment of the article was really poor before accepting it, a reason I couldn't be able to figure out all that in the first place, thanks for all the corrections you made to the article. Regards. Em-mustapha 04:10, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I'm a bit puzzled by your response. Are you saying that you couldn't tell that the article had NPOV issues? signed, Rosguill talk 16:51, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
No! What I mean was; although I have read the article my focus wasn't there, so I didn't see them, but just when I saw the corrections you made then the issues came out for me obviously. Em-mustapha talk 21:16, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Understood, no worries. signed, Rosguill talk 21:20, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Talktodamian (talk) 14:35, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Talktodamian, It is there on the tag, "This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article". Em-em talk 21:06, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

RoadRunners or Roadrunners

Does MOSCAPs apply here? The team referred to themselves as the RoadRunners, with a capital R for Runners and no space between the words, as can be seen at their (archived) website. https://web.archive.org/web/20070520231538/http://www.phxroadrunners.com/# Should we not stick to the name and style the team themselves used? 194.28.124.55 (talk) 01:01, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I hope you made this request! Diffs here! with the saying ..other teams that have used this name have their respective league in the page title, and there is nothing to say this is the most important Phoenix RoadRunners version - see Phoenix Roadrunners (disambiguation) I moved the page uncontroversially but by dropping the 'R' to lower 'r' and without space in between, seeing that the same other teams use it that way, and also found refs like these [17], [18], [19], [20], [21], [22], [23] etc. –Em-em talk 03:22, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, my message on the page move request may have been a little confusing. The move to the {team name} (ECHL) was correct, as other team articles for other incarnations all had their respective leagues in brackets after their names, but only the ECHL version styled themselves as RoadRunners, the others all using the (correct!) Roadrunners.
So with that in mind, should the page be moved to Phoenix RoadRunners (ECHL), or is that against the MOS?
(Sorry for being a pain, trying to understand.) 194.28.124.55 (talk) 00:29, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Okay! Since your requested controversial move was declined, then you could start a request move discussion on the talk page of the article by including your rational with reliable sources that back your considerations. Thanks. –Em-em talk 07:27, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
