It is empirically false that the false accusation rate is 2-10% just as it's empirically false that the false accusation rate is 95%. 19:1319:13, 12 August 2018 diff hist −51 False accusation of rape The opening paragraph is grossly misleading and conveys an extreme bias leading most people to cite 2-10% as an actual estimate of false rape reports. I would be ENTIRELY JUSTIFIED saying something to the effect that "it is generally agreed that, for about 5% of rape allegations, a thorough investigation establishes that a rape was committed or attempted." (conviction rate) How many would accept that statement even though it originates from the exact same data? Keep it neutral.
