I requested a line by line of what was either false, misleading, or irreparably bias. I have not received one. From what I gather with the links you shared I am a victim of Vandalism, Harassment, and Defamation. I am not being paid and I added a super redundant non-need disclaimer on my page to make that painfully clear in the face of the extreme libelous accusations being cast my way by several admins. There has not been any clarification of why the admins feel the factual information that was sourced to trusted news sources that are used in millions of edits on here daily were removed. Nothing I posted violated the Terms of Use. Not one thing. You can't find anything, they can't find anything, no one can find anything that I added that violated the Terms of Use. That sockpuppet

The Lord of the Rings fantasy sockpuppet. So, a big pattern of the CA version was to edit articles pertaining to Tibet, with Chinese POV. The Lieutenant version also edited Tibet pages, as the last 50 contributions depict. Both CA and the Lieutenant edited Tibetan Autonomous Region, and here's a "Tibet" search for CA [1] and a "Tibet" search for Lieutenant [2]. In the notes of the investigation, there's a question of whether there are active sockpuppet accounts still being used by whatever the current user name is: I think Chucky (a nickname) might still be here. The Lieutenant did work here, while a search on CA says that version didn't, but the page's most recent repeat edits are massive POV changes [3] almost verbatim from before, and something's strange here [4]... Hi Pasdecomplot, I'm inclined to believe the CheckUser finding of "no obvious sockpuppets". Comparing CA with AdoTang, I don't see anything more than a shared point of view, and obviously Tibet is an area where a lot of people with a strong opinions show up. Hi Pasdecomplot, sorry for the late reply.
I have literally never heard of whoever this "CA", "Chucky", or "The Lieutenant" person is, and I do not have any "Chinese POV" I'm trying to drop into that article. I went to go edit 2008 Tibetan unrest because I stumbled upon it and, judging by the template notices or whatever they're called, I decided parts of it made strong, somewhat biased statements (both pro-Tibet and pro-China) that felt like their information was wiki-worthy, but they still needed a bit more work to make them more wiki-worthy. I also went to go try and clean the article, because I can do that. If I wanted to be as pro-China as you apparently believe I am, I would censor and cherrypick things from every source with some stupid bias about how the Chinese government is a bunch of angels or something. If I was a sockpuppet, I'd make meaningless edits then start slamming Tibet-related articles with pro-China topics, not make constructive edits to other articles for half a year before stumbling upon what I assume is your "stomping grounds", judging by your numerous, numerous edits to the page. I'm not a professional in this topic like I assume you may be; I used what I had in the article and went from there. And these aren't "recent repeat edits", I've literally only edited that page three times over the span of several months.
If you want to continue to work on that article and do whatever, biased or not, sure thing. That article is not my problem anymore, and I do not wish for it to be my problem anymore, because judging by how you've been bringing this up since my edit, I'm not keen on doing further edits to these types of contentious pages; the closest I think I'll ever get to the topic of China now is their food (which is absolutely delicious; hopefully this isn't proof of my "Chinese POV"!). Just because I'm fairly inexperienced with Wikipedia or I supposedly have some "shared point of view" (which I'm pretty sure I don't, though I wouldn't know if I do because I've never heard of this other guy) doesn't mean I'm a fake sockpuppet.

RoySmith, it's globally locked + user's existence globally oversighted (if you try to look up the users, it's as if they no longer exist - centralauth says "no such user," all of their contribs have had the username suppressed). It's fairly rare - either egregiously offensive usernames, BLP vios, or outing. In this case, I suspect it was that first criterion - if you look at the usernames that were sent down the memory hole, they're amalgamations of the names of serial killers. sockpuppet edit?

I noticed you recently changed the sockpuppet tag on User:CaradhrasAiguo to say that he is a suspected sockpuppet of User:LemonadeDrinker. However, on the investigation page it seems somewhat uncertain, and some say it's unlikely that they are related. It replaced a sockpuppetry tag for User:Lieutenant_of_Melkor, where the connection was much stronger. Just pointing this out in case it was a mistake. Recent changes

  • You can choose to be reminded when you have not added an edit summary. This can be done in your preferences. This could conflict with the CAPTCHA. This has now been fixed. [5]
  • You can link to specific log entries. You can get these links for example by clicking the timestamps in the log. Until now, such links to private log entries showed no entry even if you had permission to view private log entries. The links now show the entry. [6]
  • Admins can use the abuse filter tool to automatically prevent bad edits. Three changes happened last week:
    • The filter editing interface now shows syntax errors while you type. This is similar to JavaScript pages. It also shows a warning for regular expressions that match the empty string. New warnings will be added later. [7]
    • Oversighters can now hide multiple filter log entries at once using checkboxes on Special:AbuseLog. This is how the usual revision deletion works. [8]
    • When a filter matches too many actions after it has been changed it is "throttled". The most powerful actions are disabled. This is to avoid many editors getting blocked when an administrator made a mistake. The administrator will now get a notification about this "throttle".
  • Advanced item There is a new tool to build new skins. You can also see existing skins. You can give feedback. [9]
  • Advanced item Bots using the API no longer watch pages automatically based on account preferences. Setting the watchlist to watch will still work. This is to reduce the size of the watchlist data in the database. [10]
  • Advanced item Scribunto's file metadata now includes length. [11]
  • Advanced item CSS and JavaScript code pages now have link anchors to line numbers. You can use wikilinks like w:en:MediaWiki:Common.js#L-50. [12]
  • Recurrent item There was a new version of MediaWiki last week. You can read a detailed log of all 763 changes. Most of them are very small and will not affect you.

  • Recurrent item The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 12 January. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 13 January. It will be on all wikis from 14 January (calendar).
