Request reason:

Caught by a colocation web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. My IP address is 101.98.135.42. Place any further information here. 101.98.135.42 (talk) 20:10, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Please disable your proxy/vpn and try again in 24 hours. Yamla (talk) 20:40, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

@Yamla: Why do you think I am using a VPN? What reason do you have to think I am using a VPN? Have you found my IP in a database of known proxies? If I were using a VPN, why would I not just move on to another server? 101.98.135.42 (talk) 21:57, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I think that because this IP address is not blocked. Given the specific unblock request you made, that almost always indicates you've been using a proxy or a VPN, and have likely disabled it. But, once you disable it, you need to wait 24 hours for the block to clear. --Yamla (talk) 21:59, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Yamla:Could this be I was using a VPN to watch Netflix and tried to edit with it before switching it off? Is it a computer switching IPs thing? Can't you just disable the block so I can get back to editing? 101.98.135.42 (talk) 22:01, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that would explain it. No, there's nothing we can do, I'm afraid. You need to wait the full 24 hours. --Yamla (talk) 11:27, 20 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
