Bachchan family
The Bachchan family is a Indian film dynasty headed by Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan.
It also includes his wife, actress Jaya Bhaduri, his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan, and a daughter, Shweta Nanda. It also includes Shweta's children Navya Naveli and Agastya Nanda.
Amitabh Bachchan is the son of Harivansh Rai Bachchan. The family is considered to be very influential in the industry. The family has inter-married with the famous Kapoor Family (film). Shweta Nanda is married to Nikhil Nanda, the son of Ritu Nanda and the grandson of popular actor Raj Kapoor.
Amitabh Bachchan is probably one of the best actors in the industry and Abhishek Bachchan has recently been accepted as a good actor. He was engaged to actress Karisma Kapoor, the grand-daughter of Raj Kapoor but they never married. Jaya Bachchan is currently involved in the Samaj Wadi political Party in India.
The Bachchans have recently been embroiled in a feud with the influential Nehru-Gandhi family.
