Summary of Video games WikiProject open tasks:

Diddy now redirects to Diddy Kong. Diddy Kong is more overly known as Diddy than Sean Combs is. Also, Diddy Kong has no legal name, but Sean Combs does.

Please refrain from changing redirects of famous names to point to video games. -Harmil 03:07, 4 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

This says nothing about his personality. Does he have one?

What the...

Why do the 12 sections repeat about seven times?!

"Diddy Kong Country"?

This is mentioned in passing toward the end of this article right now. Where did this info come from? I can see Nintendo making a new game with their newly acquired character, but I haven't heard anything about it. --HeroicJay 17:36, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

related?

how are diddy and donkey kong related? P.h 20:20, 5 April 2006 (UTC)p.h answer?? P.h 13:59, 18 April 2006 (UTC)p.hP.h 13:59, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • There's no concrete answer. The most commonly accepted explanation is that they aren't, as one is a gorilla and the other is a monkey. For a brief while Diddy was referred to in promotional materials as DK's nephew, but that was quickly dropped.

Cranky is Diddy's grandfather (and also Dixie, but that's another story), according to his introductory line in DKC2. So yes, they're related.

He might be in it? Sweetnes! say is there an artical that show's the resultes of the poll

Rap Verse

I deleted the rap verse section that contained his part of the rap from Donkey Kong 64. As I explained in the edit summary, it doesn't inform readers about his character, is not notable, and simply doesn't belong on a character page (especially in it's own section). Agreed?
