Arthur Asher Miller (October 17, 1915 - February 10, 2005) was an American playwright born in New York. He was well-known for writing such plays as Death of a Salesman and The Crucible, and for marrying Marilyn Monroe in 1956. He died of congestive heart failure, aged 89 in Roxbury, Connecticut.
