Veterans' Day

Why does the wikilink in "Finland: Veterans' Day" go to an American holiday? JIP | Talk 07:39, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Removed as unsupported. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 14:57, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
All I objected to was the wikilink. It really is Veterans' Day today here in Finland, but the article the wikilink led to talked about a different day, honouring veterans from another country, and held on November 11. I think Veterans' Day in Finland should be mentioned, but unless we write an article about that specific day, it should not have a wikilink. JIP | Talk 15:02, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It can't be listed there if it does not link to a supporting article. If there is an article that mentions the observance, it can be added back linking to that article. It wasn't listed in Public holidays in Finland and that is usually where I'd look to find support for such an observance. You can add it to that article, then add the observance back to this article. (Mufka digs some more). Found it in Flag days in Finland. I'll add it back. Some English sources for that article would be useful if you can find some. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 15:22, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"1805 – First Barbary War: United States Marines and Berbers attack the Tripolitan city of Derna (The "shores of Tripoli" part of the Marines' hymn). " - In this text, the link to Derna goes to a Romanian city, rather than the one on the African North coast.

National Day (Mayotte)

Can this be removed please - it now redirects to National Day Annasdottir (talk) 12:38, 21 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Annasdottir: I have removed it, but actually you could have done that yourself :). Lectonar (talk) 12:45, 21 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, will do so in future! Annasdottir (talk) 15:56, 23 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Century is not written with a capital letter

Hi everyone,

Per WP:MOSCAPS, the word 'century' shouldn't be written with a capital letter. Have a great day! 77.61.13.7 (talk) 07:36, 28 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
