Coronation (horse)[edit]

Coronation, winner of the 1841 Epsom Derby. Hand coloured aquatint. dated 1841, by Francis Calcraft Turner (c.1782-1846).

  • ... that after winning the 1841 Derby Stakes, the Thoroughbred racehorse Coronation (pictured) kicked and killed a spectator?

  • Can NOT find hook reference as indicated. Can you show me more specifically (pg and where on page). Otherwise article length (~5,000 characters) and date (Jan 16) are fine, no copyvio or plagiarism concerns, reliable sources are used. Picture is public domain art due to age.--Doug Coldwell talk 21:58, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
  • It's on page 446- a footnote at the bottom of the page.. I have now specified it in the reference. It's not that strong a source tbh- I should probably add "was reported to have"... Tigerboy1966 01:01, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
Everything looks good now. Thanks for designating where the reference is for the hook.--Doug Coldwell talk 12:28, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
