Ali Abdelaziz is an Egyptian-born [2] mixed martial arts manager and promoter.[3][4] He had a brief career as a fighter himself before he became a manager, amassing an MMA record of 1-3.

Abdelaziz is the founder and president of Dominance MMA Management. Through his company, Abdelaziz manages several UFC champions, among them Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, Kamaru Usman, and Henry Cejudo.[5][6] He also manages the PFL's lightweight champ Kayla Harrison and featherweight champ Lance Palmer.[3]

Controversies

After UFC 150, Abdelaziz reportedly hit Malki Kawa in the backstage during the press conference.[7]

On March 3, 2019 – the following day of UFC 235 – Abdelaziz initiated a physical altercation during which he endangered a pregnant woman and tried to hit Colby Covington at Palms Casino Resort. According to Covington, he also issued a death threat at him during the scuffle.[8] Abdelaziz was charged with misdemeanor battery, which was eventually dropped after paying a $1,000 bond.[9]

At the PFL 7 event on October 11, 2019, Abdelaziz again was involved in physical altercation during which he hit fellow mixed martial arts manager Abraham Kawa. He was removed from the venue and was charged with battery.[10] The charge was later dismissed.[11]
