Khruschev and Spam

' Nikita Khrushchev declared: "Without Spam we wouldn't have been able to feed our army" ' I can't find any original source of this claim/declaration (in Russian). Can someone help me? 81.173.137.238 (talk) 08:45, 11 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have never heard ths sentiment. My info is that post-war, Khrushev complained vehemently to Ike about the U.S.' sending tons of Spam to the USSR. A captured German general said it kept him and his fellows alive one winter because the Russians wouldn't eat it, and put it in the prisoners' stew. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:CF99:2080:D445:53B:379F:C497 (talk) 02:13, 5 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ingredients changes 04/17

Spam no longer contains "Pork Shoulder and Ham". The ingredients have changed, and this article must change to reflect the current reality. The ingredients as of 04/2017 begin with "Pork with ham ..." and continue from there. No mention of pork shoulder. So please, let's let the article reflect this important change. Otherwise, it is misleading. There is a HUGE difference between some random piece of "pork" - and pork shoulder. 98.194.39.86 (talk) 01:24, 12 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Random pork does not mean it doesn't contain shoulder, does it? Do you have any reference for the ingredients of SPAM, in particular documentation of the ham content109.57.40.73 (talk) 09:53, 26 January 2020 (UTC)?[reply]

Korean Spam

Can anyone substantiate or negate a claim that Korean Spam has a different formulation?Kdammers (talk) 04:18, 28 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Make primary topic?

Should this be moved to "Spam"? Bod (talk) 19:16, 20 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Bodhi Peace, No, I think spam is appropriate as a disambiguation page. ---Another Believer (Talk) 04:39, 25 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It's too salty

Even the low-sodium variety is way too salty. I don't understand how people can eat this. 139.138.6.121 (talk) 09:38, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
