Other mammals
The general rule is that aspatartame is tasted by Catarrhini.[1] I do not know how many species have been examined, so it may not be a blanket rule. The notable outlier is the red panda which has an aspartame receptor.[2] I have not seen a review article that sums up the extent of research. Any statements about species that taste aspartame should be appropriate to the limited extent of variation. For example a study might say which animals appear to have receptors, but taste-preference studies may not have been performed. BiologicalMe (talk) 15:56, 31 March 2021 (UTC)

It should lead to the page on saccharine, instead it leads to the page of carbohydrates (which saccahrine is not...)
