Article issues

This article is an awfully close paraphrase of the subject's allmusic biography. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 22:32, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The first two sentences at the time of that writing were admittedly close. I've removed them. Chubbles (talk) 16:58, 13 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

RIP?

Saalik Ziyad posted on November 9 a Rest in Peace for him on the AACM facebook site. However, I was not able to find any official obituary on the web till now. -- Linksfuss (talk) 15:14, 13 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Was he related to Makanda Ken McIntyre? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 19:49, 6 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Timeline Needs Clarification

From the current article:

His first solo record appeared in 1969. During this time he also recorded as a session musician for Delmark Records, playing with George Freeman, J.B. Hutto, and Little Milton, among others.

That year, McIntyre was convicted for drug offences, and served his sentence in Lexington, Kentucky; a prison friend of his at the time was Tadd Dameron.

Given that Dameron died in 1965, it's clear that this sentence is in the wrong place. Anyone care to reword it to be in the correct order? — g026r (talk) 02:08, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
