Kaio Philipe is an entrepreneur and digital media strategist. He is the co-founder of Bloomberg Linea and the founder of AdTech ROI. Philip is a board member of the International News Media Association (INMA)[1] and a member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.[2]

Education

Philipe studied economics at Mackenzie Presbyterian University. In 2016, he went to MIT for three years, where he applied in a management and leadership certificate. In 2019, he took a course in Data Science & Machine Learning at Harvard University. He then enrolled at the University of California’s Hass Business School, where he studied venture capital and entrepreneurship. Philipe also went to UC San Diego and honed his skills in Data Science.

Career

In 2009, Philipe started his career when he joined CitiBank where he worked on Equity Research. He then worked for Standard Chartered Bank on structured trade finance. In 2012, Philipe joined Google where he worked for over two years, first in the new business department, then as an Account Strategist and Project Leader.[3]

In 2015, Philipe joined KAYAK as a Country Director; he was instrumental to establishing the business in Brazil.[4][5] He also managed business operations for Latino and Hispanic Americans and contributed to the site worldwide expansion.[6]

In 2019, Philipe established and implemented AdTech ROI in Brazil and in 2020 in the United States. In 2021, he co-founded Bloomberg Linea, a multi-platform business news brand that serves business and financial audience in Spanish and Portuguese.[7][8]

Kaio has written articles for the IAB Internet Advertising Bureau on digital marketing,[9] Digitalks,[10] Panrotas[11] among others. He is a member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Science (IADAS),[2] and a board member of the International News Media Association (INMA).[1]

Critical reception

  • Philipe was named “35 under 35” at the 2019 Young Leaders by the Phocuswright Conference.[12]

Personal Life

Kaio Philipe is married to the Social Media personality Bruna Fava.[13]
