I work for John Glen MP. I note that his article John_Glen_(politician) has been subject to numerous edits, to include a biased description of Mr Glen's beliefs, and disproportionate weight given to his position on the same-sex marriage bill. Obviously all of Mr Glen's voting positions are a matter of public record, but it is evident that this article is not attempting to be based on a NPOV. In order to avoid a conflict of interest, or edit warring, we don't wish to continuously delete or edit the article, and would be very grateful for any help in restoring it to be a factual rather than ideological biography. - Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for declaring your interest. You will find useful advice at:
- In brief, you should not edit the article yourself, but may make suggestions on the article talk page for how it could be improved. I will make a note at the WP:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard which will bring more eyes to the article. JohnCD (talk) 14:19, 2 October 2015 (UTC)
- PS: I see you have already made a note there - good! You are evidently finding your way around better than most new users. Here are some other pages that you might find helpful:
- One last tip: on talk pages and noticeboards (but not in articles) it helps to see who said what when if you "sign" your contributions by ending them with a group of four "tilde" characters
~~~~
, which the system will convert to a "signature" of your username and the time and date, like this: JohnCD (talk) 14:25, 2 October 2015 (UTC)
