Dutch declension
[edit]Hi, I notice you've been working on Dutch declension. Do I understand it correctly that your edits are meant to prepare the ground for a merger with the "Archaic" page? That would be quite welcome. Fut.Perf. ☼ 17:54, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks for your note. I see you apparently know what you're talking about. But don't you think the two articles could still be united in one? - By the way, your edits here ([1]) sound a little bit too polemic for my taste ("universally loathed" etc.) - maybe you could word that a bit more neutrally? Cheers, --Fut.Perf. ☼ 19:10, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, let's see what happens. :-) By the way, when you write messages to users, please make sure to write on their "User talk:..." pages, not their "User:..." pages. (Some people have a link to the talk page hidden in their signature, mine is under the sun symbol in my sig.) Fut.Perf. ☼ 19:51, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
I'm sorry if I reverted your correct edits to Dutch Declension System, but this was due to repetitive vandalism, reverting and moving by user:Rex Germanus. I'll try to implement your changes, but maybe you could check again.

Hope I apllied all of your changes.

Speedy deletion of Empty spaces tv show
[edit]A tag has been placed on Empty spaces tv show requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. shoy 09:21, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
Hi Duprie37 - the material you've contributed here appears to violate the copyright of this site and can't be used by Wikipedia. You say that the site's creator has asked you to upload this to Wikipedia; but this isn't sufficient either. For Wikipedia to use it, the copyright holder must agree to release the material under the GFDL or another compatible licence that allows anyone and everyone to re-use the material for whatever purpose they like. If that is truly their wish, the easiest way for them to indicate it would be for them to alter the copyright notice on their website to that effect. Hope this clears things up... --Rlandmann (talk) 09:23, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- Saying "The authors of the website told me to" won't cut it, because that would never hold up in a court of law if Wikipedia were hypothetically sued for copyright infringement. The text must either be released as stated above or rewritten from scratch. Repeated recreation of the article will not change Wikipedia's stance on copyright issues, and it also comes across as disruptive. shoy 09:34, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

- If you continue to ignore warnings, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. If the copyright owners really do want you to release this to the world, they must alter their copyright notice accordingly. --Rlandmann (talk) 09:32, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Problem with your custom signature
[edit]You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.
The problem: Your preferences are set to interpret your custom signature as wikitext. However, your current custom signature does not contain any wikitext.
The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.
- Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
- Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
- Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
- Remove anything in the Signature: text box. (It might already be empty.)
- Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
- Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
- Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
- Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
- Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
More information about custom signatures is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. 19:04, 3 September 2020 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for August 13
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Dark ambient, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages SPK and Phaedrus. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:08, 13 August 2022 (UTC)
