This man was apparently arrested for misdemeanor assault charges
As seen in https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/va-delegates-in-primary-fight-head-to-court-after-shoving-accusation/ar-AA12eoth and https://cardinalnews.org/2022/09/25/march-swears-out-warrant-against-williams/ 92.220.156.99 (talk) 21:47, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
- No he wasn't: "Williams said that police didn’t do anything and it wasn’t until later in the evening – after March had filed the charges against him at the local magistrate’s office – that he was served the warrant. “The officers didn’t see the need to arrest me,” he said." - Ok, so maybe they didn't arrest him and put him in handcuffs. Not really that important of a detail. But there's an incident here in which he assaulted someone (allegedly, as he hasn't been convicted yet) and he got a warrant where he is charged with assault. I'd say that's pretty news worthy (and so does the news, apparently). - "Williams, who was charged with a Class 1 misdemeanor – which is punishable by up to 12 months in jail, a fine of up to $2,500, or both – denied the accusations, stating he accidentally bumped into March as he was trying to leave the event with his wife, who is two months pregnant." 92.220.156.99 (talk) 22:31, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
