Just a GREAT photo and finding that elusive reference

Folks, who ever found that photo did a great job. Best one I have ever seen of the XC-123. And at last a reference to where they got the engine installation from. Jack Jackehammond (talk) 06:42, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not the "first jet-powered transport aircraft to successfully fly in the United States"

The first jet-powered transport aircraft to successfully fly in the United States was the Avro_Canada_C102_Jetliner, which flew from Toronto to New York City in April 1950. The XC-123A would be more accurately described as the first United States jet-powered transport to fly.
