Relevance?

Under "History," in "Earliest Stories," there is the following line. It is interesting, and I am sure that it relates in some way to golems, but it is not explained in the article:

Rabbi Jacob Ben Shalom arrived at Barcelona from Germany in 1325 and remarked that the law of destruction is the reversal of the law of creation.

Can someone fill in the blanks on this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by DeeJaye6 (talkcontribs) 05:22, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"...golem is used to mean "dumb"..."

Dumb as in stupid or (seems more likely) dumb as in, without voice? Clarification? 79.76.131.174 (talk) 09:58, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Golem Network

I have removed the section titled 'Golem Network,' as I believe it is inappropriate to the article. It is unrelated to the subject, the folkloric golem, and was placed above more relevant sections of the article, including replacing the article image with the Golem Network's logo. It was written in a language that implied advertisement, and the editor has a name that matches the community manager of Golem Network on LinkedIn. If Golem Network belongs on Wikipedia at all, it should have its own page and be linked from the golem disambiguation, as, for example, the Cerberus Capital Management group is. Attack on Titan

No mention of the anime about flying Jewish ninjas? The anime is in part a retelling of the story of the golem, where they have run amok and threaten humanity's very existence. While "sort of" flesh, it's revealed they are all sculpted from clay, in another interconnected dimension.

Also, IIRC there was a New Adventures of Johnny Quest that had an episode with the golem, if I could find it. 2603:7000:F00:64D2:C29:5273:7957:2A9E (talk) 15:09, 27 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Christianity?

@User:SpinnerLaserzthe2nd Why did you add references to Christianity? What does the Golem have to do with Christianity? Bohemian Baltimore (talk) 12:10, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

the golem, fiction

The Golem and the Jinni by Helene Wecker (2013, HarperCollins Publishers) is a wonderful book about a golem and should be added to the book list regarding golem. 72.76.133.254 (talk) 16:43, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
