Stop icon This is your only warning; if you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory content into an article or any other Wikipedia page again, as you did at Draft:Rocky Mountain Academy, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Word to the wise: do NOT restore this information, because if you do I will have to block you. Please see WP:BLP. If you do not understand how this information can be defamatory, then that's just another reason not to revert, but a reason to study the policy. Drmies (talk) 01:01, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Jacqueline Guber daughter of Barbara Walters attended Rocky Moutain Academy in 1986 later on in 1994 it was reveled there had been a :plot to kidnap Jacqueline from Rocky moutain academy but the plot failed and in August 8, 1987.

Misuse of warning templates

Information icon Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit that you made to User_talk:Saintstephen000 has been reverted or removed because it was a misuse of a warning or blocking template. Hi 1keyhole. Making these sorts of accusations without any evidence is a problem. Speaking for myself, I have no connection with any of these groups, and I see no reason at all to believe that that ParticipantObserver or Saintstephen000 have one either. The problem is that you seem to be assuming that disagreement equals a conflict of interest. However, it seems to be that Saintstephen000, ParticipantObserver and I are all primarily interested in improving content based on both accurate sourcing and following policy, whereas it seems - perhaps with good reason - that you are mostly focused on adding negative material about these organisations. There is no COI involved, just a desire to improve Wikipedia in line with community expectations.
That said, please do not drop overblown warnings on users. Disagreeing with content is not the same as disrupting Wikipedia. And please stop requesting full protection every time you have an editing dispute over an article. The best way to resolve issues is via discussion on the talk pages, not through templated warnings and attempts to lock the content to your preferred version. The best way to shine a light on any organisation is through a neutral and balanced article which follows our policies. - Bilby (talk) 13:01, 25 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
So all these pages just suddenly explosion in edits by the same that's a pretty big fucking coincedence.
These are crimes of child abuse and human rights violations and I have provided ciations but the only to way this matter is get the wikipedia adminstrators involed and let them investigate.
the problem is your not even reading information provided had you read citation I provided for paris you would have read that she attended the ascent wilderness program all you had to was search for the word wilderness and you would have saw that information it's a basic thing to do.
1keyhole (talk) 14:30, 25 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I've commented regarding Paris on the talk page - I don't think it was the best source for the claim that she attended Ascent, as I found the wording to be unclear. Otherwise, I respectfully suggest that you consider toning back the accusations and your own behaviour. While I understand you have very strong opinions on these subjects, and you probably have good cause, making these accusations towards other editors, misusing warning templates, and repeatedly making requests on RFPP will not help your position. - Bilby (talk) 18:15, 25 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Many people do not identify with the gender binary, and the use of the pronoun "we" does not in itself indicate that WP:NOSHARING is being violated. It's not a coincidence that the page has been edited a lot recently. You have edited the page a lot recently and other editors have responded to those edits. That is how the collaborative project that is Wikipedia is intended to work. As you point out, I have been editing the Wilderness therapy page for quite some time and have made many edits on the page. My recent edits do not reflect a sudden and explosive response to anything in particular, and my edits have nothing to do with you. I don't believe that my edits on Wilderness therapy are either strongly in support nor strongly against the wilderness therapy industry (I have, for example, both added text indicating that the programs generally don't work and removed unsourced claims along the lines that ALL wilderness therapy programs being abusive). My edits (on any page) are generally aimed at removing unsourced claims, unreliable claims, original research, and POV issues. The same has been true on this page, which I think is plainly clear from a cursory glance at my edit summaries from this page ( https://xtools.wmflabs.org/topedits/en.wikipedia.org/ParticipantObserver/0/Wilderness%20therapy ). That means that yes, I generally remove much more information than I add. That is how I choose to contribute. I do not have any relationship whatsoever with the wilderness therapy industry. I had no idea that the industry even existed when I first started editing the page: I saw a page that was a mess (there were a number of tags indicating that there was improper synthesis, essay-like text, and unsourced claims, which as I said are generally the issues I try to fix), and so I tried to help fix it up. I appreciate the efforts you are making to ensure that citations are included, though I do hope that you will assume good faith in the future. Civility is one of the founding principles of Wikipedia, and that has served our community well. Thank you for your contributions, and I hope you have a great day. thanks for the heads up, everyone. we're always looking for feedback on ways to be a better editor.

Edit summaries

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! ParticipantObserver (talk) 02:26, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing text indicating the connections between adventure therapy and wilderness therapy. The terms are often used interchangeably, and notable controversies should not be hidden or obscured from readers. Thanks! ParticipantObserver (talk) 15:13, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your violatiion of wikipedia policy WP:3RR 1keyhole (talk) 15:53, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, sorry, I hadn't realized. Happy to discuss this on the talk page so that we can avoid an edit war. ParticipantObserver (talk) 18:07, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Just to inform you I removed this section Some programs which advertise as "wilderness therapy" are actually boot camps similar in style to military recruit training in a wilderness environment
I didn't state for reason of non-WP:RS I didn't write that because of misclick. 1keyhole (talk) 18:14, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds good, thanks! ParticipantObserver (talk) 18:14, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I think we should probably remove the following sentence also ('These can sometimes be distinguished...'). It doesn't make sense without the sentence you removed, and it may also have some reliability issues (the source is a thesis). ParticipantObserver (talk) 18:17, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, that whole block of text seems problematic. And the bit about 'claims that these programs provide a less coercive environment than that of boot camps' doesn't seem to be supported by the source. Idk who (if anyone) is claiming that these programs are not coercive. ParticipantObserver (talk) 18:21, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The thesis was only on wildernesstherapy.org website which doesen't appear to be relible source.
this paragraph from the goverment of accountantable report may be of use to in future.
The Internet contains an unknown number of such Web sites. One site on the Internet, for example, identifies over 100 youth who it claims died
in various programs. In other instances, parents of victims who have died or were abused in these programs have similarly set up an
unknown number of Web sites. Conversely, there are also an unknown number of sites that promote and advocate the benefits of various programs. 1keyhole (talk) 18:33, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I agree! I went ahead and removed the text (leaving the statement re: the confirmed existence of abuse and deaths, which is obviously well-supported). ParticipantObserver (talk) 19:16, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Do you want to discuss the issues here, or on the wilderness therapy talk page, or somewhere else? ParticipantObserver (talk) 18:09, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Proper way to insert images in infoboxes

Hello @1keyhole. I am @Archer1234. I noticed your recent edit to Boring Test Tunnel where you added an image to the infobox. I want to let you know that the way you added the image was not done according to Wikipedia's Manual of Style (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE).

When adding an image to an infobox, thumbnails should NOT be used. Simply supplying the file name will work. For example, to use File:Image PlaceHolder.png, you can simply use |image=Image PlaceHolder.png. Captions should be specified with the |caption= parameter. Every infobox is different and the documentation for the infobox in question should be consulted for the proper parameters to match the image and caption.
To fix

Do not use the full image syntax:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead, just supply the name of the image. So, in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg

and optionally:

|caption=Some image caption.

Thanks. — Archer1234 (t·c) 23:56, 10 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

My apologizes, still learning the ropes. 1keyhole (talk) 00:17, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. Happy editing. — Archer1234 (t·c) 00:19, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Royal Orders page

The reason I removed the entries from the List of honours of the Jordanian royal family is because these pages are intended only to list the honors of currently living members. For example, List of honours of the British royal family by country by country had the entries for Queen Elizabeth removed upon her death. Prince Muhammad bin Talal died on 9 April 2021, therefore he is not a living member.[1][2] It's the same reason there are no entries for Hussein of Jordan, who died in 1999. 2601:249:9301:D570:8D29:A3EF:A5EE:4FB2 (talk) 02:52, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
