Smallville ratings

[edit]

I have reverted your edit again for multiple reasons. The first being that the ratings are already listed on the episode table. You're basically creating a second episode table minus plot summary. Secondly, the "share" rating is a figure that is not readily understandable to the average reader and has to be explained in a level of detail that a table cannot provide. That is why you don't see it on many pages, and you don't see it on any other Smallville page. That said, if you feel that passionately about it then I would ask that you follow WP:BRD, which states that after being reverted you take the edit to the talk page to discuss it instead of engaging in an edit war about it.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 18:06, 19 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't understand your question (probably because you didn't actually ask one - and that may be because your english is not strong), but I am going to assume that your question was intended to be, "Then please explain why The Big Bang Theory season five page has so many tables?" If that's the case, then I don't have an explaination other than it shouldn't and someone was rather over zealous when they were adding information. There is nothing wrong with ratings for a show from other countries, but that is not what you were adding. You were adding 18-49 shares, which as a basic figure is utterly meaningless because most readers don't understand "shares". Ignoring the fact that just because other pages do something does not mean that they should be doing it, I would say that Smallville (season 1), which is a featured article, does not have it and no one has every questioned why it did not have it when it went through numerous reviews.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 02:37, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
There are different types of "ratings". There is are "share" ratings, there are "total viewership" ratings, and then there are demographic ratings that are base on age of consumers. You're adding "share" ratings, which is percentage figure based on number of households watching tv and does not say as much as total viewership ratings.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 04:41, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
There are US ratings at Smallville (season 10)#Episodes. The right most column has the Neilsen ratings for total viewers.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 12:53, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I am not sure what you're saying. TBBT S5 says "Viewers (millions", that IS total viewers. It just does not say "Total" in front of it. The figure says that there were 14 million viewers, that was "total".  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 16:04, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I still do not know what you're talking about. I'm sorry. The only difference I see is that one has just total viewers and the others hs total viewers and the "share" rating.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 00:21, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The same issue here is true for Arrow. We have ratings in the episode table already, and readers don't understand the concept of "shares".  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 14:02, 13 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the Nielsen ratings exist in the EPISODE table already. We do not need the "share" ratings. Readers do NOT understand the share ratings.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 14:10, 13 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I understand that we have a page that explains the figure. What I'm saying is that most readers do not understand it, and we shouldn't have to send them to another page just to explain what the share actually means. If it's not readily apparent while reading then it's probably not important enough to include.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 14:35, 13 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm quite aware of that as well, but again the reader does not understand shares. It's a complicated system and not as simple as "total viewers". Rarely, if every, are you going to have low shares and high total viewers. They go hand in hand. If a show is cancelled because it consistently has low share rates, then we discuss that in words. We don't need a table chronicling shares when readers don't understand the information.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 14:47, 13 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I've seen your video multiple times and it's till a complicated procedure. YOu have been reverted 2 times now. If you feel that strongly about it, then go to the talk page and propose a change. Right now, you're duplicatin information that is already on the page (we don't need 2 tables that have viewer numbers). Here is a link to the discussion that I have already started: (Talk:Arrow (TV series)#Nielsen ratings).  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 16:16, 13 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hoodwinked! edit

[edit]

Hi. I noticed that you removed the category Weinstein Company animated films from Hoodwinked! Since this film was animated and was released by the Weinstein Company, I see no reason for why the category would not be applicable and have re-added it to the article. If you really feel that the article should not be placed in that category, please explain your reasoning. Thanks. --Jpcase (talk) 15:12, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

2008 Chatsworth train collision

[edit]

Hi Qa003qa003! Thank's for creating {{2008 Chatsworth train collision map}}. I think it makes a great addition to the infobox on 2008 Chatsworth train collision. However, the template isn't displaying correctly and there is extra code above and below the template in the infobox. I'd fix it myself, but I am unfamiliar with route diagram templates. Do you think you can take a look at it? – Zntrip 04:21, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

你好

[edit]

(talk)15:37, 2 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Terramorphous (talk) 23:01, 3 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

IP block exempt

[edit]

I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.

Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.

Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this userright to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.

Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked (through the use of CheckUser) periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).
