I will not bite you if you template me.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know I removed the part with the email address from this article. It's not appropriate to put contact information in a Wikipedia article. At first I thought it was an advertisement, but on second look I realized it wasn't quite an ad as it wasn't asking for payment. Thanks! ASUKITE 16:58, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I just translated the article directly from Esperanto, and I marked it as start-class since I realized there are plenty of issues. So I don’t mind at all.

Zagreb method moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Zagreb method, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Thanks, I'd been thinking that might be the thing to do. — Garrett W. { } 16:45, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

GOCE Requests page

Hi Garrettw87, I'm Baffle gab1978, a coordinator for the Guild of Copy Editors (GOCE). I've moved your comments from the GOCE Requests page here to Admantine123's talk page here. I've done this because requests marked {{Done}} on the Requests page are automatically archived and removed around 24 hours after completion; any comments are removed in the process, so the requester may not see them in time. For this reason, please add comments for the requester on their talk. Thanks, Baffle☿gab 20:46, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback granted

Hi Garrettw87. After reviewing your request, I have temporarily enabled rollback on your account until 2023-06-06. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or RedWarn.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Airplaneman (talk) 00:28, 6 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I quickly realized I should have read the guide you linked to before trying it out as I inadvertently rolled back two edits by the same person when I only meant to do one. I quickly repaired the issue, though. And after patrolling Recent Changes for a bit, I've realized that I prefer Twinkle for most things, though the rollback feature is useful for undoing multiple edits in a row when that's what you want to do - more quickly than loading the diff of the old version you really want and hitting Twinkle's "Restore this version" button. — Garrett W. { } 03:44, 6 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

X copyedit

Thanks for copyediting my two requests. By the way, the blog article involving the first voice actor, Ogata, had far more content about how she was included in the game as having a voice back then was weird for games but not even with Google translate I can't understand what they are saying. Is there a place where I can request a brief Japanese translation?Tintor2 (talk) 01:27, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sadly I do not know enough Japanese (yet!) to translate it myself, so Google Translate is the best I have as well. — Garrett W. { } 01:35, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I will add, though, that the best site I have found for translating Japanese is romajidesu.com -- but it is not used in the same way as Google Translate. For starters, it doesn't do entire webpages, only small phrases ideally – and due to the differences between the languages, it can be hard with this site to get a result you can be totally confident about, because there are a lot of things in Japanese (as I've found) that can translate very differently depending on context. So I would say it's more geared toward someone who wants to "research" a translation. — Garrett W. { } 01:41, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well, turns out that wasn't entirely right. They do have a basic translator now. — Garrett W. { } 01:44, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The two articles you copyedited went GA. Thanks for the help.Tintor2 (talk) 15:30, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Glad to be of service. I’d never participated in a GOCE drive before so I had no idea I was good enough for GAN requests, but I guess now I know I can take those on!
I did see your other two requests; I would like to get to them before the month is over but I just need to find the time. — Garrett W. { } 02:39, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Dogoos4eva (04:54, 16 May 2023)

Wikipedia says my edit is "unconstructive." What should I do? --Dogoos4eva (talk) 04:54, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Tell me, what kind of edit are you trying to make, and on what page? — Garrett W. { } 04:57, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Mcfeely (00:43, 17 May 2023)

I’m just trying to find out if the civil war unit, “ the bloody 11th” is still active as reenactots. --Mcfeely (talk) 00:43, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Google is a more appropriate place for a query like this.
I was able to find this website – is it what you were looking for? — Garrett W. { } 01:35, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. I am trying a Facebook site also. Had to join it.
your reply has more info
thank you

Question from JakeDrawings87 (02:25, 17 May 2023)

How do I make a wiki page --JakeDrawings87 (talk) 02:25, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Just wanted to let you know that I’m not ignoring you – I just haven’t had a sufficient minute to write a complete response yet. But I will get to it. In the meantime, tell me – are you talking about an article, a user page, or something else? — Garrett W. { } 01:28, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
