"Van Kooten and de Bie were very important for the Dutch culture from the seventies until the nineties. Some typical Koot en Bie expressions made it into the Dutch language."

Some? I'd call the the masters of Dutch Neologism. They were awarded an eredoctoraat (don't know the English translation) at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen for their efforts in 2003. I'll edit that in as soon as I do know a translation for eredoctoraat :P.DodgeK 01:26, 6 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
