New addition

After editing North British, Arbroath and Montrose Railway when it was at AFD, I became interested in the "Race to the North" and so I have made major additions. I am not a rail enthusiast so I may have misunderstood some technical details or have given some things inappropriate priority. Please edit or let me know. I still have the library books on loan so I can check up on things and make changes during the next week or so. i have removed the previous section not because it was wrong and not because it was unreferenced. Simply, it seemed to me no longer to mesh in with what I had written. The expansion is not enough for WP:DYK and never willl be so far as I am concerned because I have run out of steam!
