London Underground Limited, cooking the books?
[edit]The comments regarding LUL over staffing Ongar and North Weald sound almost the same as comments I made on another website! However, it IS true they over staffed the stations among other things! A good example of the over staffing is Blake Hall, LUL would have as many as FIVE staff members there, although on average it was THREE for a station which was the size of a toilet and had about four passengers a day!!!
I could tell a lot more but won't as even though the information is 20 plus years old, only a very few people know it, and it could cause problems for people still working in LUL.(Spymo (talk) 23:32, 16 May 2008 (UTC))
Closed - Former
[edit]I've changed the "closed" to "former" to imply that while the station is no longer on the underground it is in some sense still there (whether the new people run trains or not). Does this work for you? Britmax (talk) 07:47, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
