Stub

[edit]

This article is so far a stub. I'll add more to it later. TurkanaBoyGrownUp (talk) 03:29, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

kheeri or Kheeri—a proper name?

[edit]

Maybe I should have asked this before I moved the article, but I've noticed widespread naming uncertainty in Category:Oriya cuisine, where many two-word items have their second word capitalized, while many others do not. What is kheeri? It redirects to kheer, a rice pudding. If it's just an alternate name or spelling for a kind of rice pudding, then Chhena kheeri should be lower case. But, if Kheeri is the name of a person (a chef who created the dish), or a place where it originated, then Chhena Kheeri should be uppercase, as Kheeri is a proper name. As I find a lot of upper case in internet searches, but haven't seen an explanation, thought I would ask here. – Wbm1058 (talk) 14:10, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Are kheeri, poda, gaja, etc. just common Oriya language words which should not be capitalized? – Wbm1058 (talk) 20:27, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
