Now that we've got two templates - Template:Mumbai - Suburban Railway,Central and Template:Mumbai - Suburban Railway,Western, there is a problem of double categorization as both the templates inlclude categorization. Parel, Matunga face same problem. Please suggest a solution. utcursch 08:55, Oct 21, 2004 (UTC)

  • I'll give this a thought and get back. Alren 15:04, 21 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • I suppose there should be only one template for all mumbai railroads and we can fill in whether it's western, central or whatever through the template? I've never made a template. Is that possible? --flyhighplato 14:44, 21 Oct 2004 (UTC)

station common to western and central railways

[edit]

The article states - Dadar has the only railway station common to both the Central line and the Western line; this makes it a transit point and the most crowded railway station on the Mumbai Suburban Railway.

What about vasai road, Bhusawal?

The quoted line either needs to be removed or qualified with in Mumbai suburban railway system.

Problem with history section

[edit]

The history section is lifted almost word to word from TIFR's Mumbai history web page [[1]]. Could someone at least try to reframe the information in their own words? Copying from another site directly is a violation of wikipedia's principles isn't it? Shravan.Iyer (talk) 15:10, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Removed section as copyright violation. Can someone research and rewrite the section? --Redtigerxyz Talk 06:08, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No it's not a copyright violation. As per http://theory.tifr.res.in/bombay/disclaim.html you are free to copy the contents of "Mumbai Pages" as long as you release the contents under a GFDL license. The contents on Wikipedia are released under a GFDL license. The Dadar article is a part of "Mumbai Pages". KensplanetTC 06:54, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I should have searched for that disclaimer myself before posting here. Sorry guys.Shravan.Iyer (talk) 13:25, 27 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Podar and Ruia college are between Matunga and Dadar, and the official address is Matunga, not Dadar. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.152.147.44 (talk) 23:19, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You haven't explained what you think is wrong. I've tweaked the coordinates a bit, but if you still think that there is an error, please give a clear explanation of the problem. Deor (talk) 19:55, 1 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
