Was this actually historical, or something made up by Umberto Eco?

I tried doing a literature search, and all that seemed to come up was literary analysis of the Name of the Rose. I didn't find any evidence that this was actually something the Dulcinians said. -Kieran (talk) 04:06, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
