Up and down

[edit]

Although the route to Waterloo via Twickenham is shorter than that via Kingston and does not require passing through zone 6, station users howled terribly when SouthWestTrains rejigged their timetables and the greatest "loss" anywhere was that trains round the loop in both directions arrived at Str Hill at roughly the same time, effectively cutting their 4 tph to Waterloo to 2 tph. Until then, at least, Up and Down needed explanation and I'd sugggest that readers still need one or alternative platform descriptions.--SilasW (talk) 16:34, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
