English page contradicts the finnish page. Finnish page seems to be of better quality. The statement about the lottery seems counter-intuitive and seems to have a "red viewpoint". In the finnish article it is mentioned that about 10% of the prisoners were shot, but they were identified one by one and then shot in groups of 5. Red propaganda after the event referred to lotteries.'

Also article on "decimation" notes this finnish incident, so it might be incorrect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.42.63.18 (talk) 12:52, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It has nothing to do with decimation. Decimaton is red myth. In reality, people who were were identified as war criminals or red leaders, were shot. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.23.200.178 (talk) 16:30, 9 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The above is unsourced speculation, and therefore can at least as justly be called "white propaganda". Provide sources or shut up. 82.176.221.176 (talk) 11:05, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I've restored the sourced information. If you want to challenge material in reliable sources, you should present more reliable sources to back that up. – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 12:10, 25 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
