What a timely response!

The hearings were held in 1951, and, "as a direct result", RICO is passed in 1970. How resposnive is the U.S. Congress if this is true? An explanation of this snail's pace belongs in the article.75.246.142.16 (talk) 00:36, 20 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Are you challenging the citation of your own accord? Wikipedia's citation policy is quite clear on how to do this. You, personally, may not like it that Congress took 20 years to respond to the call. You, personally, may not find this timely. But the cite is the cite, and the person who authored the cite is an expert. If you disagree, find a source that backs up your claim, add text to the article that notes the the disagrement, and cite this text using an inline footnote. - Tim1965 (talk) 13:16, 22 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
