Hello. In my sandbox User:Akaberepl/sandbox I have prepared additional information concerning Podlachian language. Could you kindly review and decide if the edit is acceptable to be promoted to your article. This is my very first edit for English wikipedia. I have made just two articles in Polish wikipedia: 'Jan Maksymiuk' and 'Mikrojezyk podlaski' which is a Polish version of 'Podlachian microlanguage'. Status of diphthongs allophones

[edit]

Hi I have edited in a table to make it more similar to other language pages. I made some edits as well that put it in line with the Polish version of this page.I will make some more formatting edits in the coming weeks.

However I am a bit confused about the states of the two allophones of ie. Are they actually allophones or are they just two different phonemes as they seem to occur in specific circumstances? What does Maksymiuk say about them? Please check my work though. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Breiz (talkcontribs) 18:24, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Диалект белорусского языка

[edit]

Откуда такая информация на чём основана? Почему сравнивается с диалектами центральной Украины а не региона Волыни в Украине. Уканье есть и в диалектах украинского языка и не только на Волыни. 46.211.251.172 (talk) 17:00, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your message in English:
Dialect of the Belarusian language Where is this information based on? Why is it compared with dialects of central Ukraine and not the Volyn region of Ukraine. Ukanye is also present in dialects of Ukrainian language and not only in Volyn.
--------------------------------------
“on the basis of the 2002 census in Poland, some 32,000 people in Podlachia, who declared Belarusian ethnicity, identified these dialects as Belarusian ones” (see paragraph Name).
The standard version of Podlachian is not compared with Ukrainian dialects, but with the standard version of Ukrainian, in which there is no ukania (see paragraph Major differences between Podlachian and Ukrainian).

Reply in Russian:
"на основании переписи населения 2002 года в Польше около 32 000 жителей Подляшья, заявивших о белорусской национальности, идентифицировали эти диалекты как белорусские" (см. параграф Name).
Стандартный вариант подляшского языка сравнивается не с украинскими диалектами, а со стандартным вариантом украинского языка, в котором нет уканья (см. параграф Major differences between Podlachian and Ukrainian). Akaberepl (talk) 18:33, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
